process and production

In this session we had our photo taken and then created the book of lies by randomly generating captions we had lied about and the captions would be placed over our portrait which resulted in the image below.

In todays session we learnt how to create clipping masks, filters and overlays to create images. We were given images and had a selection of about 12 I chose three images to work with and experiment by changing the settings on each these are the results of that session.

this weeks animation session was really fun I learned how to use the 3D spaces and how to give an animation depth. I really liked learning this skill because I like working in 3D

this session was really great we has to design a character then bring it to our session and animate it using the pre set animations such as scale, opacity and positions I really liked this session because it made me feel like i had progressed massively in this process.

Penguin Book Week 6

This week I have started to complete my project by creating my final design. I am going to use what i have learnt over the last 6 weeks to complete this project by creating a final book cover which will portray what the book is about but without giving the story away. I am happy with how this project has gone so far and I am excited to completing my final design.

Penguin Book Week 5

This week i have started my development of creating my own book cover using the iconography in which I have discovered during my further book research. I have mainly focused on creating images of birds and patters using ink to create a bloody effect.

Penguin Book Week 3

After I had done some artist and book research I knew that I wanted to do the book "to kill a mockingbird" once I knew this I started to create mood boards and gather materials which would help me with my own development. Most of the books I have seen through out my research host a Mockingbird and quite neutral colours so this is what my further research will host; a wide range of imagery in which I can then develop into my own book cover.
